What is Time Delay ?
In security alarm systems ,the control panel will not sound the alarm immediately when the sensors are triggered. There will be short delay to give the homeowner time to enter the password and deactivate the system, If the password is not entered before time delay, the control panel will activate the alarms.
Time Delay varies in each type of alarm systems, the Time delay settings in ATSS Burglar Alarm systems are as mentioned in below picture.
