2.Trim trees and shrubs near doors and windows, High fences and shrubbery can add to your privacy, but can also be an asset to a burglar
3.Invest in a burglar alarm system.
4.Are any of your valuables-electronic goods, like computer, TV etc-easy to see from outside the house? Rearranging your furnishings might be advisable if it makes your home less inviting to criminals.
5.Get a dog. The bark is more important than the bite. A little yappy dog can be more of a deterrent than a German Shepard.
